Valhi, Inc. is a holding company. The Company operates through its wholly owned and majority owned subsidiaries, including NL Industries, Inc., Kronos Worldwide, Inc. (Kronos), CompX International, Inc. (CompX), Tremont LLC, Basic Management, Inc. (BMI) and the LandWell Company (LandWell). Its Chemicals Segment is operated through Kronos.
