Summit Industrial Income REIT (the REIT) is a Canada-based open-ended mutual fund real estate investment trust. For its investors, the REIT’s objectives to maximize funds from operations through property management, accretive acquisitions, financings and selective property development opportunities. For its tenants, the REIT’s objectives to provide industrial properties in the best locations close to major transportation links and high growth population centers. The REIT is primarily involved in the ownership, development and commercial leasing of light industrial real estate with approximately 84 income-producing properties in Ontario, 30 in Quebec, 47 in Alberta and one in Atlantic Canada, as well as 14 properties under development in Ontario and Quebec.
