Select Medical Holdings Corporation is an operator of critical illness recovery hospitals, rehabilitation hospitals, outpatient rehabilitation clinics, and occupational health centers in the United States. The Company's segments include the Critical Illness Recovery Hospital segment, the Rehabilitation Hospital segment, the Outpatient Rehabilitation segment, and the Concentra segment. The Critical Illness Recovery Hospital segment consists of hospitals designed to serve the needs of patients recovering from critical illnesses, often with complex medical needs. The Rehabilitation Hospital segment consists of hospitals designed to serve patients that require intensive physical rehabilitation care.
