In 2019, Liechtenstein's trade surplus widened to CHF 1.72 billion in 2019 from CHF 1.64 billion in 2018, as exports rose to the highest level in over a decade, while imports declined for the first time in four years. The largest trade surpluses were recorded with the US, France, Iran, Mexico, Singapore, Germany and Russia; while the biggest trade deficits were recorded with Austria, the Philippines, Serbia and Croatia.
