The S&P Global France Services PMI fell to 53.2 in July of 2022, from 53.9 in June, compared to a flash estimate of 52.1. It was the third successive slowdown in the growth rate and the weakest since January, with demand for services rising at the softest pace since April 2021 amid weaker purchasing power among customers due to sky-high inflation. On top of that, the rate of job creation eased to a five-month low. On the price front, both input costs and output prices increased.
