Finland's gross domestic product grew by 4.29 percent year-on-year in October 2021, after an upwardly revised 5.45 percent gain in the prior month. This marked the eighth straight month of increase in economic activity but the softest pace in three months, with output easing for all sectors: manufacturing (4.02 percent vs 7.36 percent in September), services (4.38 percent vs 4.64 percent) and agriculture, forestry, and fishing (5.17 percent vs 7.05 percent).

Finland's gross domestic product grew by 4.96 percent year-on-year in September 2021, the most since June, after a downwardly revised 4.29 percent gain in the prior month. This also marked the eighth straight month of increase in the country's economic activity, with manufacturing output growth picking up sharply (6.63 percent vs 2.89 percent in August). Meantime, production continued to grow for both the service sector (3.97 percent vs 4.43 percent) and agriculture, forestry, and fishing (13.01 percent vs 14.19 percent).
