Prices slowed mostly for food & non-alcoholic beverages (6.0 percent vs 7.3 percent in May); transport (9.2 percent vs 9.5 percent); clothing & footwear (8.7 percent vs 8.8 percent) and furnishings (8.9 percent vs 9.0 percent). Conversely, cost rose further for housing & utilities (5.2 percent vs 5.1 percent) and restaurants & hotels (11.1 percent vs 9.6 percent). On a monthly basis, consumer prices went up 0.3 percent, after increasing 0.5 percent in the previous month.
