Exports from Latvia jumped 12 percent from a year earlier to EUR 1.091 million in March of 2019, boosted by sales of wood and articles of wood; wood charcoal (7 percent); electrical machinery and equipment (1.6 percent); machinery and mechanical appliances (5.5 percent) and vehicles other than railway or tramway rolling stock, and parts and accessories thereof (4.7 percent). The major export partners were Lithuania (15.2 percent of total exports), Estonia (11.7 percent), Sweden (8.5 percent) and Germany (6.9 percent). Exports in Latvia averaged 437.65 EUR Million from 1993 until 2019, reaching an all time high of 1186.50 EUR Million in November of 2018 and a record low of 53.10 EUR Million in January of 1994.
