Italy's industrial turnover grew 5.3 percent from a month earlier in January of 2020, following a downwardly revised 2.8 percent decline in December and compared with market expectations of a 0.1 percent drop. It was the strongest increase in industrial sales since January of 2008. Year-on-year, industrial turnover rose 3.8 percent, after an upwardly revised 1.5 percent fall and against market expectations of a 0.9 percent fall.
Manufacturing Sales in Italy averaged 0.12 percent from 2000 until 2020, reaching an all time high of 7.70 percent in January of 2008 and a record low of -6.60 percent in November of 2008.
