Number of female students enrolled in tertiary education in a given academic year per 100,000 inhabitants. It is calculated by dividing the total number of students enrolled in tertiary education in a given academic year by the country’s population and multiplying the result by 100,000. This indicator shows the general level of participation in tertiary education by indicating the proportion (or density) of students within a country’s population.
