It was the highest reading since February 2016, as manufacturers were more optimistic regarding output expectations (42.8 from 36.6 in May). In addition, stocks of finished products continued to fall (-2.9 from -1.3) while new order levels declined further (-20.5 from -16.7).

It was the highest reading since August 2016, as manufacturers were more optimistic regarding output expectations (36.6 from 33.8 in April). On the other hand, stocks of finished products dropped (-1.3 from 6.1) and new order levels declined further (-16.7 from -14.4).
