The value of exports in November 2015 amounted to SEK 99.9 billion, while imports were valued at SEK 105.1 billion. Compared to November 2014, exports increased by 5 percent in value, while imports increased by 10 percent.
Trade with countries outside the EU resulted in a surplus of SEK 11.3 billion, while the EU trade resulted in a deficit of SEK 16.5 billion.
Seasonally adjusted, the net trade deficit amounted to SEK 1.7 billion in November 2015, compared with a deficit of SEK 1.1 billion in October 2015. The corresponding deficit for September 2015 was SEK 0.3 billion.
So far this year, the value of both exports and imports increased by 5 percent compared to the corresponding period one year ago. Exports amounted to SEK 1081.2 billion, and imports were valued at SEK 1067.8 billion, resulting in a surplus net trade balance of SEK 13.4 billion for January–November 2015. The corresponding surplus figure for these months one year earlier was SEK 14.0 billion.
