In relation to the second quarter, the Gross Domestic Product (GDP) at market prices grew 0.5% considering the seasonally adjusted series. The services recorded a growth of 1.0%, while industry (-1.3%) and agriculture (-1.5%) decreased.
In comparison to the third quarter of 2009, the GDP grew 6.7%. In this confrontation, among economic activities, industry (8.3%) stood out, followed by agriculture (7.0%) and services (4.9%).
In the accumulated of the four quarters ended in the third quarter of 2010, growth was 7.5% in relation to the immediately previous four quarters. In the accumulated of the year in 2010, in relation to the same period of 2009, GDP varied, up to September, 8.4%. GDP at current values reached R$ 937.2 billion in the third quarter of this year.
