In July, exports were USD 11.181 billion, a 16.2 percent decrease compared to the same month a year earlier. Shipments to the EU-28 decreased by 13.8 percent to USD 5.176 billion. The proportion of the EU countries was 46.3 percent in July 2015, while it was 45 percent in July 2014. The main export partner was Germany with USD 1.100 billion, followed by the United Kingdom (USD 810 million) and the United States (USD 605 million).
Imports were USD 18.209 million, a 8.7 percent decrease compared with July 2014. The top country for imports was China (USD 2.86 billion), followed by Germany (USD 1.98 billion), Russia (1.706 billion) and Italy (USD 1.2 billion).
In July of 2015, exports coverage imports was 61.4 percent, compared to 66.9 percent in July 2014.
