Polish Economy Slows in Q2


Poland’s GDP expanded a seasonally adjusted 0.6 percent over the previous quarter, down from a 1.1 percent expansion reported from January to March, according to preliminary estimates.

Year-on-year, the economy grew 3.2 percent, down from 3.4 percent in the previous quarter.

Sanctions between the European Union and Russia will shave 0.6 percentage points off Poland's economic growth this year, Deputy Prime Minister Janusz Piechocinski said at the end of July.
