Year-on-year, prices of housing and utilities went up 13.2 percent (9.4 percent in June), cost of recreation and culture rose 19.1 percent (from 18 percent). Cost of food and non-alcoholic beverages slowed to 20.4 percent (20.7 percent in June), supported by decline in the prices of fruits and vegetables. Transport prices were up 11.8 percent (11.9 percent in June).
Month-on-month, inflation rose to 0.8 percent, from 0.2 percent in the previous month. Nonfood prices were up 0.5 percent (0.3 percent in June), cost of services increased 3 percent (1 percent in June), while prices of food declined 0.3 percent (-0.4 percent in June).
Core inflation rate declined to 16.5 percent in July, from 16.7 percent in the previous month.
