Spanish Consumer Prices Unchanged in July


Annual inflation rate is Spain is expected to decrease to 0% in July, following a 0.1 percent in the previous month, mainly due to a fall in cost of diesel and gasoline.

On a monthly basis, consumer prices decreased 1 percent in July, compared to a 0.3 percent increase in June, according to preliminary estimates.

Harmonised consumer prices are expected to decrease 0.1 percent on a yearly basis after being flat in June, and fall 1 percent over the previous month after rising 0.2 percent in June.
